A preliminary audit, often lasting 5 to 7 business days, includes documenting current conditions, identifying opportunities for improvement, ranking current operations against key metrics for LEAN Design vs. World Class facilities and identifying a game plan for implementation of LEAN Design Manufacturing Tools and Techniques.

Detailed Assessment and Benchmarking Audit
A more comprehensive Lean audit, often lasting 2 to 3 weeks, includes detailed study of all aspects of operations performance, including detailed process mapping and finite benchmarking against industry competition and World Class operations. Metrics include inventory turns, cycle time, labor content, cost of material, and quality. Lean Manufacturing Piloting Program Assistance Development of a Pilot Cell uniquely tailored for individual companies, implementing tools and techniques of Lean Manufacturing. An important early first step for those companies considering Continuous Improvement Initiatives, training work force and reinvigorating a culture of Lean.
